Alcohol free wines= B.A.R.F.

OMG they were straight up nasty!  I was jonesning for a glass of wine to the point that I drove to 3 stores and found a chardonnay: Fre, and a red: Aria.  Nasty, nasty!  The white you could probably turn into a meh sangrita if you wanted for a baby shower since all it tasted like was peaches.

This is not meant to be a debate about drinking alcohol/abstaining during pregnancy so don't go there.

Try the Fre Champagne.  It is "brut" so not so sweet like sparkling grape juice.  I've tried all the "Fre" and whatever else I could get my hands on and this was the only one that I liked.  Now I still drink Fre Red - because sometimes I just want to have two big glasses of wine with a movie.

Agreed!!!!!! So foul. I've been getting Sparkling apple cider from Trader Joes. It's delicious! I'm also making mock-i-mosas. Seltzer w OJ. I drink it in a champagne glass. Make me feel fancy!

I had some this weekend & really liked it...I dont remember the brand offhand, but it was so much closer to wine than trying juice/cider that I'll take it for now!

I always thought that alcohol free wine would be... grape juice? Or whatever-fruit-the-wine-was-made-of jucie? I was like 19 before I figured out that wine could come from something other than grapes.

I'll admit that I don't know much about wine, since I won't drink it. But someone please explain the non-alcoholic wine =/= juice thing to me.
