Thanks! I did have Barrett and we are doing well. After much debate I decided BF wasn't for us and we are both much happier now he is FF. It was a good call, he's eating so much - he was a BIG boy 9lbs 12 oz and yep he came out vaginally so I'm still feeling a little sore.
We're still adjusting to life on the outside: eating, sleeping, etc. but he's a good baby and I've been very lucky to have a lot of help from my family.
I'm going to try to insert a pic, but not sure if it'll take, so I'll also include the link to his hospital pics. We had our official pics taken yesterday and I can't wait to see those!
Just being nosey...has his father acknowledged him?
"There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good. So love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living."
Thanks! He's a week old and I was 4 days past my due date, so I'm sure he's figured out he's been born, but he hasn't contacted me so I didn't contact him, either. I spoke to my lawyer last week and he said he would serve him the paperwork so I'm letting him find out that way. We'll see what happens; I'm expecting a request for a paternity test.
My son's dad requested a paternity test after he had been visiting him and acknowledged he was his son. But once you have the results he can never deny it.
Enjoy every minute with Barrett!
