Hi! I'm New Here

Hi Ladies - So I just found out that I'm pregnant. I am eight weeks along and am happy,scared, and nervous all at the same time. I haven't told my family yet, and I'm scared to do so because they HATE my boyfriend and have been trying to get us to break up for the past 6 months. The other kicker is that I work for my parents and my mom is known to be irrational when she gets mad..... talk about additional stress!!!

This also isn't my boyfriends first child, so he isn't acting all excited like someone would for their first child.

 I'm hoping that joining up here will give me the extra support I need and advice! I'm still searching for a good female OBGYN in Tacoma too..... anyway..... I'm glad that there is a group here, and I hope to get to know all of you soon!

Congratulations on your pregnancy and welcome to the board!  Sounds like it may be rough when you do announce it to family. I hope they are more supportive than you expect.  There are a few ladies here who may be able to help with Tacoma-area recs.

I hope everything goes well... I know it's tough sometimes, but your child will be more than worth the frustration!! Just try to think about it in that aspect... That's what got me through my tough times.  Good luck!!!

Hi there! Congrats on your new lo. Please know that alot of us have had very much the same feelings in the beginning stages of pregnancy, and it's ok. Having your first baby is huge and it's alot to take in. I live in Tacoma and I always reccomend St. Joes womens clinic. It is a nice place and every one there is amazing. They have several providers to choose from. Again congrats. Stick around all the ladies here are so nice and very supportive.
