2nd (or 3rd, 4th...) Time Moms ?

Did you feel like your pregnancy with your second (and each subsequent) took forever? I'm 15 weeks today and I seriously feel like it's never going to end. I don't know if it's because I'm not working full time or if it's normal. I remember thinking my pregnancy would never end during the last four weeks of my pregnancy of Em and I remember occasionally feeling like this once in awhile, but I feel like this all the time. Does it get better?

The easier the pregnancy the shorter the time seemed. #2 seemed the shortest. #3 seemed the longest. I guess it just depends on what is going on in your life and outside focuses.

I think it was way harder to be pregnant with a toddler around... especially in the beginning when you feel like a$$ and just want to sleep all the time.   In retrospect, I feel like I barely remember being pregnant though because I had so much other stuff going on with dealing with Ben and all - that and I only made it to 34 weeks.

I'm no help - I felt like my 2nd pregnancy just flew by - and hate me if you will, but I really miss being pregnant. I wouldn't trade our birth story for the world, but technically, my baby is STILL supposed to be in my belly - I feel a tad bit cheated out of the last few MISERABLE weeks.

Can you work on projects to pass the time?  Maybe start planning what you want to do for the new baby's nursery whether girl or boy?

The first part of my 2nd pregnancy (when I thought there was 1) went by quick.  I had BTDT and I wasn't quite as excited so it wasn't on my mind every second of the day.

I totally remember my pg w/ Logan. I remember every detail. What I remember of being pg w/ Liam is the beginning and the end. I remember the a$$ feeling and the tired feeling in the first trimester and I remember feeling panic and a sense of can we end it now, pls?.

Aww thanks!!   I still pretty much look like I drank 20 too many beers though... I cant wait to start looking more pregnant and less fat!

I think part of the reason I'm not enjoying pregnancy is because I'm still sick most of the morning. I hate waking up in the middle of the night gagging and I wish that I could be done with the nausea, but hopefully once I start feeling better, pregnancy will fly by. At least I know that it's mostly normal and that we've all felt that way at some point.

p.s. Jen, I bet you look more pregnant than you think. I can't wait to see your belly! We're due like a week apart and I'm super excited for you!

This except I remember it and all the stresses it brought on especially since I was in modified bed rest and the huge protein diet.  It was enough to convince me that I was never going to get pg again! lol

This one has gone faster for me, especially the second half of it. How do I only have 8 weeks left (give or take)? Yikes!

I was definately more tired the second time around...but it also went  a WHOLE lot faster!!!!  I think because I was chasing after Madelyn, I didn't have time to really obsess about all the details (and the calendar!) the way I did when I was pregnant the first time.

And I don't really want another baby, but I do miss those kicks and nudges when it was just me and the little guy (and he kept me up just by kicking, not by crying ).

I was just saying this to DH last night, while our little man was moving around.  I really like that part of 3rd tri and wonder if I'll miss it.
