Cloth Diapering

Ugh ugh ugh

She just took her diaper off through her pants.  I noticed her butt looked saggy and her diaper was around her knees.  It was a velcro blueberry.  The velcro on those is pretty sticky.  Luckily she was just wet.

  • Oh no! My DD unsnapped her BG through her zip up pj's yesterday morning and when I realized what she had done, she looked at me, laughed and tried to run to her room. Toddlers are so much fun! Lol

  • Ugh is right.  But, at the same time, that's pretty impressive!  I'm not sure I could get my underwear down to my knees without taking my pants off!  LOL

Yep. Life just changed, haha. My DD did this for the first time five minutes after takeoff when we were traveling by plane BY OURSELVES, then peed all over my lap. I smelled like pee for the rest of the day. It sucked.

  • I heart snaps for this exact reason!

  • These stories are so much fun... because I know it will be me in one to two years.  I definitely go with snaps now.

Me too, but she is impossible to get diapers on. Its like dressing a drunk monkey with ADD so i have been reaching for velcro more and more lately.

For all of you saying, "This is why I use snaps," don't think you're safe from this! When DD went through a diaper-removal phase, I put her in a Goodmama (so, a total of six snaps), BACKWARDS (to make it even harder to remove), underneath a cover (of course). She still got it off in about 30 seconds.

Yeah, she had 2 of the 3 snaps on one side undone on her GM right after this. So yeah I am in trouble.

Yeah, ITA with this.  DS can unsnap any of his diapers through his clothes in no time.  Whoever originally started the buy-snaps-so-they-can't-get-their-diaper-off trend obviously didn't have a very ambitious toddler.  LOL.

  • Ha. Dd took her diaper off in church during Easter mass. I didn't even notice until DH was like, "why is her diaper on the floor?!"

  • Has anyone tried the whamies with hooks?  I don't have this problem yet, but I'm guessing we will soon based on his other behaviour and letting him go pantsless all summer.

  • I'm so thankful DD has shown no interest in taking off her diapers for the moment. I'm sure it's just a matter of time.

I literally LOL'd at several of those stories.
