I am at a loss this year, we have done photo books, photo cards, pottery, framed pictures, grandmother's bracelets. I really like to try to keep it to something homemade (ie not expensive) and am at a loss for this year. We will be having dinner with both of them on Mother's day.
Re: What are you getting/doing for your mom/mil for mother's day?
similar to pps idea, you could do those cement stepping stone things that go in a garden -- they usually have the kits at Michaels or AC Moore.
(confession, I bought one of these to do for my mother last year and we STILL haven't done it!)
oooh, that is a good one. I like the planter idea a lot, but this sounds like less work which is good this week. I did it for DH a few years ago, had not thought about it for the moms. I forgot we actually have one that was a gift from SIL from Red Envelope that is still under my bed to do for our yard as well.
