? about Ju-Ju-Be BFF

For those that have and use the Ju-ju-be BFF, where do you keep the backpack straps when you're not using them?  

One of the things that sold me on the bag was the ability to convert it to a backpack on the fly, but the straps are bulky and don't seem to fit well in that back compartment with the changing pad.

 Do you just make the decision to use it as a backpack or messenger bag before you leave the house and leave the unused strap(s) at home or is there a good way to pack them in the bag?

i haven't quite figured it out myself yet either

i usually leave them at home if i know i'm not going anywhere that i'll need them

if i do bring them, i might pack them at the bottom of the bag. i've tried putting them in the pocket with the changing pad but they didn't really fit well there

or i'll just attach them to the bag and leave the messenger strap on too

I will probably leave them in the car.  That way if I need them while I am out I can just grab them from the car.

I leave them in the door pocket in my car or in a compartment in the trunk of the car. I often make the decision to convert it when I get to a certain place and think it will be better to use it as a backpack.
