pain med recommendations

So I have a wisdom tooth coming in, quite painfully I might add. It hurts so bad I can't eat but I know if I just give it a while it will stop, but I could really use some orajel or something. Does anyone if this is okay while pregnant or something similar I could use to make it stop hurting? It's giving me a terrible migraine also, can't take much more... any suggestions, please!

I am going to the dentist at 8:15 for extreme root canal pain.  I am going to ask him what I can take that is better than Tylenol and can tell you then but that's not going to help either of us tonight.

I used orajel while I was pg with DS.  I had an infected wisdom tooth, so while I was waiting for the antibiotics to kick in, that did the trick.

    And yeah, the obvious Tylenol.

Thank you ladies, anxious to hear what the dentist has to say too.

Yup pretty much just orajel and Tylenol.  He gave me an antibiotic too but had me clear it with the OB.  I have heard that some girls get vicodin if the pain is truely severe.  Good luck!
