I am dead set on William. My husband is dead set on Dean.
WDYT of William Dean? Doesn't blow my hair back.
I like William Alexander but our last name is Adams, so the baby's initials would be WAA. reminds me of whining lol.
I think a monosyllabic middle name that does not start with A would be a good choice for a middle name.
May I have your thoughts?
Re: love the name William...no not after the Prince
Little man is going to be a William too (great name!) and we're going with William Ross (Ross is Monsieur's favorite uncle). William Alexander is really nice, but it's a bit high fallutin'--not tragically so, but it's rather of fancy. Some other thoughts...
William Max
William Mark
William Paul
William David
William Brian
William Henry
William Michael
Thank You for the name suggestions. I think William Alexander sounds pretty posh/fancy also, maybe that's why I like it. When I hear "William" it really sounds like such a strong, masculine name, which is what I am really looking for. Its funny how names create images in your head.
Nice job on William Ross, I love seeing family names incorporated for sentimental value.
For some reason, the middle initial A for Alexander, paired with A for Adams bothers me...anyone else agree? WAA doesn't look right.
Co-sign.
BTW, I like William Dean. I used to hate the name Dean, but it's grown on me over the years.
If you want off the wall, my grandpa is William Virgil
I like William too. A lot.
I really like both William and Dean. I'd go with Dean because he'll just be another William. It's too popular.
I also LOVE the name WIlliam. Scared to use it though because I think EVERYONE will be naming their son that after this royal wedding and everything. I'm sure there will be a rise in Kates and Catherines too.
Of your two...I surprisingly like William Dean better...especially with your last name. I love the name Alexander... but I agree...not a fan of WAA
i actually think a longer middle would go well since the other names are 2-syllable. maybe:
william benjamin
william gabriel
william christopher
william elias
william everett
william philip [too many Ls?]
william theodore
william nicholas
any longer family name either of you might have would work well also. i assume you've already considered your maiden name?
