So not only do I work in the insurance industry but I'm currently in the midst of a claim.
Being that I work in it, I am that much more critical of the folks attempting to do their jobs to assist me.
I submitted some paperwork, very clearly outlined what it was for and what my expectations were. I only got half a response. Sigh, fine. So I make a call.
I clearly point out that what I received was X, but what I'm wondering about was Z. I'm told, oh no, that wasn't for X, it was Z. We need additional information on X.
I ask them to verify because the response I'm looking at in writing very clearly says X. I'm assured that yes, they require additional information.
I send the required information, again detailing that I thought it was incorrect, but was sending as requested and asked for a return call. No return call.
Got some correspondence yesterday indicating that they cannot honor my new paperwork for X because X has already been addressed!
So here I wait for another phone call to once again ask about Z. And they changed adjusters on me without notification, so that's got my goat as well.
