Yeah! That is always a great feeling. When I was younger, I saved $200 -$300 a month for my next car when I didn't have payments. By the time I was ready for a new one, I had enough to pay cash after I sold the old one. I love not having to deal with the finance people after I negotiate the price.
Switch your mortgage to biweekly payments (it reduces a 30yr to about a 26yr) and then send an additional ENTIRE payment (once a year - or more if you can) to add to principal which will take another (roughly) 4 years off the mortgage. You can cut your 30 year mortgage into a 22 year mortgage (approx) by biweekly payments and one extra payment a year. So split the $350 in half -- add $175 to retirement/college and $175 to build up over the year to total one whole payment.
