Can I ask you about your birth control statement?

What is there to not believe in? Are you extremely religious?

Is there a number of children that when you reach it, you'll be done? What will you do to prevent future children after that magic number, or are we talkin Duggars?

Just curious. You can ignore me if you like.

Re: ****x0stephanie****

  • I'm Roman Catholic, I didnt think the ban on artificial contraception was that unheard of.

We believe one of the purposes of marriage is to bring children into the world, and only avoiding them under grave circumstances.  Naturally I agree with this or I wouldnt be a part of the church.

I dont have a magic number of children I want.  Most Catholic families I know have between 3-5 kids.  I'll use NFP along with with the perks of extended breastfeeding to space my children, not to avoid them altogether.  I figure by the time I'm done having kids I'll be at the end of my childbearing years anyways so sterilization wont cross my mind.

The Duggars have obviously made no effort to space their children and it shows.  NFP is very effective when used properly, the only issue is self control.
