Red cheeks!!

FancyStarGazer posted about this below in a teething post.  Have others also found that your children have had bright red cheeks when teething?

I am sure that E is teething and his cheeks get SO red.  Several times I thought he was getting sick because his face looked flush, but thank goodness he has not.  It is nearly constant now, but he does have some periods of the day when they are not as red, but if it is teething that would make a lot of sense,  I wasn't sure what was happening.

So, thank you Fancy for mentioning this, and has anyone else noticed this as well?

Re: Red cheeks!!

  • when my girls were little they had very red cheeks....espically their first winter.  it never seemed to bother them, but they looked aweful!  my pedi just said they had sensitive skin and they grew out of it.  HTH!

  • My kids have had seriously red cheeks for the last few days! So red that my  mom has called me several times today to check on them - she's convinced they're getting sick. I stuck my finger in Leo's mouth today, and he has 2 new teeth! I'm not convinced the red cheeks are due to teething though - their skin is chapped and rough, and Leo's cheeks are still red after those teeth popped out.
  • Dude! I told you! hehe... It doesn't bother them, sometimes the cheek can feel warm but nto feverish. I'll bet you have a tooth or two come through here sooner than later! :)
