I feel like my daughter is sitting so high up - at my appointment last week, the midwife said she is up in my ribs. Well, I really want her to start making her way down from the rafters. Anyone lucky enough to get there yet

Re: has anyone dropped yet
Nope, but don't feel bad, at my childbirth class the instructor/nurse said that sometimes babies don't drop until right before you go into labor. Mine is kicking my ribs, too, so I feel your pain :P
BFP #2: 7/23/14 - MC: 8/28/14
BFP #3: 2/22/15 - MC: 3/3/15
BFP #4: 5/20/15 - Stick baby stick!!!
Nope, my doctor was surprised at 32 weeks how high I was carrying still. I thought I still had a while to drop...
Baby likes to play with my ribs. I can often see a body part of some sort on the outside of my rib cage. Although it would be nice to breath easier, I know I will have horrid hip and back pain once LO drops, so I am ok with the baby staying high
Nope, but I have a long kid I think. At my appt. yesterday the doc pointed out where his head, back and legs were and his head was pretty low and his legs were in my ribs, which didn't surprise me.
It won't surprise me either if he's tall. I'm 5'9, my brother is 6'4", my grandma was 5'11" before she started shrinking, etc. so height is not a foreign concept to my family! DHs family on the other hand... totally different story!
I don't know if she has technically dropped but at my last appointment my doctor said that her head was very low in my pelvis. I was just glad she was head down, since she was breech for the longest time.
I thought I read most babies drop closer to 37-38 weeks but I could be wrong.
This. I am carrying so much lower this time and it was making me nervous. My doctor said yesterday that the baby is still where he should be. I really hope that I don't drop until right before labor, because I feel like I will just topple over.
Yes, I have a blog and it's hilarious (except when it's not)
My guy has. I didn't really notice an improvement in my breathing capacity, or any more pevlic symptoms, but someone told me Monday I looked like I dropped, and the OB yesterday confirmed he's way down low.
I was just happy to confirm he was head down!
