Why did i think i could do an extra week!

My boss gave me the option a couple weeks ago to have April 29 as my last day.. well my being the dumb idoit told her i would be fine until May 6th... was i stupid and wrong... i really wish tomorrow was my last day! After getting no sleep last night (thank you thunderstorms) i am exhausted and want to go home!!! Only 1 more week to go now

I hope i can i have had zero motivation today and it doesnt help that next week my hours are 50 (some ot) but that means im gonna be tired!

I'm jealous too.  I'll be working until I go into labor too.  Hopefully, I'll be able to work from home more in the final weeks (whenever those are).  It is very tiring driving a 1-hour commute to work and a 1-hour commute back.  Good luck to you!  Hang in there! You can do it!

What I would give to be leaving work early!  I will also be working til she comes out.  I have nightmares that I go into labor at work!

Back to you - You can do it!  The end is in sight and being productive at work is overrated! (as I bump allllll day long )

The 6th is my bday!  :-) 

I have to work until the end b/c it would count against my maternity leave.  I am dreading having my water break at work or something equally disastrous.

Same here. I had first said May 6th then bumped it to may 13........crazy. I'm exhausted and not to mention i have a uti and have been having contractions (irregularly since last night) FUn fun! NOt much longer though.

You can do it! Only one more week! And that's great you get to be off some before you have the baby, that's nice!

On a side note--I used to work with my bff a few years ago and she DID go into labor at work!! She all of a sudden felt a gush of water and started running (YES, running to the bathrooms, which were pretty far away from our cubicles!!) I ran after her and she was sitting on the toilet as her water was gushing out! I opened the door and said, are you ok? lol That's something I won't forget and she was embarrassed since she had to be wheeled out of the office on a stretcher when the ambulance came! haha

My last day is tomorrow...and I've been working from home this week to wrap up some of my current investigations. I can't believe we are at the point to start leaving work already!!
