UTI again.......

This is my 2nd UTI ever. I got one 2 months ago and had contractions with it now i have one again and had contractions last night. Went to the dr this morning and they said to drink as much as possible and started me on antibodics. Just hope it doesn't put me into labor. Anyone else having this problem?

Not lately but I used to get them all the time.  Once you get one, you are more susceptible.  Annoying!  Glad they have you on antibiotics.

yuck!! I had 2 almost back to back in the 2nd trimester no symptoms (there probably were but I just chalked it up to normal pregnancy stuff) until I started the antibiotics then I felt like crap until I was done with them. I had never had a UTI before getting pregnant - now I'm a little paranoid about them, I'm drinking lots of cranberry juice and running to the bathroom every time I feel the urge to go.

No but I had chronic UTIs when I was younger and ugh they are so painful. Your doctor is right - the more you drink the faster the bacteria will circulate out of your bladder. Hope you feel better soon.

yeah i just gat a call saying I had a UTI ... it's my 2nd one also... they are calling in some antibodics for me...
