I agree. I don't think it's tacky or weird. I also posted my gender shot up on FB for my family and friends. I've posted it here, as well. I think a lot of us have fun trying to guess and figure out the gender. I see nothing wrong with posting ultrasound pictures up, what-so-ever.

 "have pink decor in your house" - I did not realize that pink was no longer allowed... I am at a loss as to how to decorate my little girl's nursery

Oh, and also I have to disagree that an ultrasound pic is NOT like an actual pic of a child's genitalia. In an u/s pic it is sound waves picked up from a probe and reflected on a screen, an actual picture is a capture of a real life still image.

So if they couldn't get the money shot from your ultrasound, would you have waited till she was born and then posted a picture of her vulva on facebook to announce that she was a girl? It definitely makes you tacky and weird.

An ultrasound shot and a pic of a newborn baby's genitals are totally different things. You can't even see anything other than the random 'shape' in an ultrasound. I don't know why people get so riled up about this -- so you wouldn't do it, why do you care if other people do?

Lets see I think Ive done just about everything you have mentioned in some of the above posts..Yes I have posted my sons "potty shot" online. I wear clothes from Walmart and so will my son. I eat processed foods (YUM!). My son has NUMEROUS outfits with different characters on them. If he would have been a girl his room would definately be pink! Oh yeah and Im a VERY proud owner of a one year old pitt bull! Sounds like you need to step off that pedistool sweetheart. Were you ever taught the phrase "To each his own"?

Call me tacky and weird, but a year and a half ago, this pic was all over my FB- I was psyched about my little boy! (Oh, and no, I didn't take a picture of his genitals and post that once he was born- I definately see a difference between the 2!)
