My dad and his jokes.

So I decided to go and visit with my dad, my mom works nights sometimes. Anyways let me start from the beginning he is so emotional. I mean he will cry at movies, he cried because my siblings and I bought them a new stove for there anniversary. I called my mom right away and told her my BFP. She then told my dad when he got home from work and he cried.

So my DH and I watch Sons of Anarchy. I had a t-shirt on and it says SAMCRO. My dad comes up and touches my belly and says " What does that say shamoo" He has the corniest jokes. Thank god I am in a good mood today other wise I think I would have just started crying. He was just joking and I had a good laugh with him. He then proceeds to tell me he is very excited about LO coming and he is nervous about holding him because you have to watch newborns heads. I said if your that uncomfortable then sit when you hold him.

I'm gonna make everyone who wants to hold LO sit down first. I'm terrified that someone will drop her.

Good job on not getting pissed when he said shamoo. I know I'm big, but sooo tired of hearing "you're huge!" (my family is too honest).

I'm glad your dad is so excited to meet your LO My mom said "Hiya chubby" when I walked into her house yesterday for dinner! Doesn't bother me any because I know it's all baby. She quickly got an embarrassed look on her face and apologized and asked if she should make fat jokes lol. I told her I don't really mind because I know she is so excited for baby and loves me. Just not too many in one day please!
