Has anyone used it? The lactation consultant recommended it for cracked nipples. Haven't talked to my OB about it yet- they're closed for the day. The LC said I might have to call around to find a pharmacy that would mix it for me. Which sounds a little odd.
Re: Jack Newman's nipple cream
It's awesome! The LC suggested it to me when I got mastitis and had major cracked nipples. I noticed healing w/in days of using it. Don't let the idea of it needing to be mixed scare you. I had to get it through the hospital pharmacy instead of my regular pharmacy too because the hospital was the only one in the area that would mix it up. It's a bit expensive if you don't have insurance to cover it but it's totally worth it!
I haven't personally used it but it has been recommended to me by public health nurses and friends. You can find more info here:

And from the bottom of the page:
"You can find a list of compounding pharmacies in Canada and the US and maybe some other countries by going to the website iacprx.org. Click ?For Patients, Pet Owners? in the red box on the left side of the page, then click ?Finding a Compounding Pharmacist Near You?. You will need to sign in and then you can find your nearest compounding pharmacy."
