LO due on DS's B-day! 12/24/2011

I feel like the worst parent!  I know it is somewhat irrational, but I feel like I'm robbing DS from his special day!  I know most babies are not born on their due date, but the fact that DS is already a Christmas Eve baby and now has to share that date with a sibling makes me feel horrible!

you are right, #2 probably won't come on due date. Neither of mine have. You could even have about 3 weeks difference in the dates if you delivered when you are term at 37 weeks. Try not to worry about too much. There isn't much control you have over this besides picking an induction date.

lol we're in a similar situation...DD2 is due exactly one week after DD1's second birthday, and DD1 was born on our anniversary. Plus, DH's birthday is later in the same month. But, baby will come when she comes! I think it'd be neat if they were born on the same day, it might stink when they are younger with birthday parties and things, but later on, I think it'll be special to them.

Similar situation here as well.  #3 is due 4 days after #1's 3rd birthday.  I feel the same way you do but I keep telling myself it's not that big of a deal if they share the same day or week.

My DSs b-days are 2 days apart and DS1 was born on my birthday. So this year we will be celebrating all our birthdays.   Most likely the baby won't arrive on the due date.
