Cloth Diapering

XP: Honey Bun Drops

Has anyone used these as a cloth wipe solution? I received a bag of them for a shower gift and wasn't sure about them. Haven't heard to much and was wondering if I should give them a try or just take them back.

  • I don't have an answer for you, but I'm interested in what others have to say on this.  I received a free sample with a diaper order and would love to know more.  Mine didn't come with instructions, how much water do you use with one of the squares?

  • The directions say 1 cup of HOT water per cube. It should dissolve and then wait for it to cool, obviously, before using on baby. It also says that if you soak the wipes in a warmer to change the water every 2-3 days.

  • I don't have any baby experience with them yet, but I made a batch to test on my dog's feet.  She is allergic to grass and breaks out like crazy on her feet or anywhere that touches grass.  I started using the solution to clean her feet when she comes inside and she is now rash and itch free!  It does a great job getting the dirt and grime off as well.

To make the solution, you use one cup of very hot water per square and stir to dissolve.  Make sure the solution has cooled before using on baby.

There are also a lot of other uses for the solution and squares.  Feel free to check this link out for more info:

  • Thank you. That is really helpful. I can't imagine having a dog allergic to grass. :( That must be so hard!
