s/o names

Ok today I saw a patient named Teara. Can you guess how it is pronounced?

Tara, like Tear (a paper) -a. So ridiculous.

  • lol!

In other news, I *love* your new sig pic!  So freaking cute!

  • I would have said it like Tiara (tee-air-a)...How weird!

I have a girl in our program whose name is Chaela...pronounced like Kayla.

  • I'm so glad that I was not part of the crazy name spelling generation.  I'm a good old fashioned Jennifer.  Super boring, yes I hated it growing up and my only saving grace was growing up in po' dunk Fort Bragg where there was only one other Jennifer in my class.  Can you imagine if that were a popular name now the bizarro spellings people would be coming up with.

BTW, my "made up" name when I got sick of my name or wanted to "be someone else".......AmyBig Smile.  I totally coveted the name Amy growing up.

Your little sweetie pie is just growing up so big soooo fast!  What an adorable picture.  I bet there must be tons of fun ones in that series.

  • Oh thanks everyone! Photo taken by photographybykemmeo.com !! Just a wee plug, haha.

As far as the name Amy, thanks, that's super cute that you wanted my name. I wanted to be Samantha, or Jessica or Amanda, something three syllables that ended in an A.. So it's no wonder my daughter is Elena, haha. Short, but still three syllables and ending in an A!.
