Two random acts of kindness today that made me :-)

I stopped and picked up someone's garbage can that blew into the road and put it back in their yard. When I passed earlier the top was in the road but I couldn't stop and people were having to swerve. Then when I cut my mom's yard I went ahead and cut her neighbor's too because his mower is broken. He was so surprised and happy when he came home and saw it. That made my heart all warm and fuzzy. :-)

  • Yay for you - I hope it comes back around soon!

  • Aw! You are so nice!  I would love haivng you for a neighbor.

I experienced an act of kindness today.  I had the nicest, friendliest drive thru person at dunkin donuts this morning.  Instead of the usual greeting, like "do you want to try our blah blah blah" He was super friendly, saying good morning, what can I get for you in the most up beat voice.  Then when I asked for somethign for myself and a donut for DD he asked if I wanted them in separate bags...which I did so that she could have her own in the backseat.

It was a nice way to start the day and put me in a good mood the rest of the day. The littlest thing makes a huge difference.

  • Yeah!  That is really nice of you Belle.  I let someone in the zoo with my membership I met standing in line the other day.  A lady and her two kids, saved them $45.  The next day, I went to a play and all the member seats (better seats) were taken.  People actually moved over and made room for us.  Karma!  You deserves a whole lot of it.
  • I bought coffee for the person behind me the other day at a Wawa.  The guy was very shocked, and in turn he bought the coffee for the man behind him.  Brought a tear to my eye.

    Love random acts of kindness.

  • I meant to add a disclaimer that I was tooting my own horn. Docmay, that's awesome ... and Dunkin Donuts sounds wonderful. We don't have one here anymore.
