I need BOTB help

My nephews birthday party is on Saturday. He turned 11 today.

I am trying to put together a scavenger hunt and google is not being my friend.

I am thinking 10 items for each team to find. I'm not exactly sure how many kids will be there yet. I need to come up with riddles or something for the items. I'm just going to get dollar store stuff.

Do you want riddles to lead them to a location (and then they find the item), or riddles to tell them what item to look for (and they have to find the location on their own)?

I think riddles to lead to a location, when you get to that location there's another riddle, and so on until they find the big prize at the end.

I've done ones where I make a rhyme, but leave out the rhyming word.

Hickory, dickory, dock, - The next clue is behind the _____. (clock)

The next spot isn't so hard - just look outside in the back _____. (yard)
