Just another strange way in which our lives are alike:  The "fake" name we used for L before she was born was Allison (we would never use since it rhymes with our last name). 

My MIL told us she was hoping we WOULD go with Allison, middle name Katherine (family name both sides) and then she could call her granddaughter Ally Cat. 

Are you sure we aren't related in some way?
