very detailed!!! possible miscarriage please help.

Ok ladies exactly two weeks ago I had a normal period but not as heavy as usual. But on Sunday morning I woke up and was lightly bleeding theb as the day progressed I passed 10 clots the size of my closed fist and a bunch of little clots the bleeding slowed yesterday night but now its back with the clots is it a miscarriage or not??? I do have cramping in my lower abdomen.

Wait.  Did you ever get a positive pregnancy test?  If you think you are miscarrying, you should probably at least call your doctor.

I never took a pregnancy test. I am not ttc. I was asking if that sounded like a miscarriage or if it just sounded like an unusual period. I have been taking birth control also.

If you are bleeding so heavy that you think you are having a miscarriage, you really need to call your doctor. It's my understanding though that a miscarriage is very, very painful.

I did have lots of pain but the only time it was sever was when I'd pass a clot. I'm not sure what could have happened or anything. But I am no longer bleeding since I've passed all these clots.

if you never had a positive pregnancy test, there's no way to know if it's a miscarriage or not.
