First Years Ignite Stroller recs

So... I have been admiring this stroller from afar for some time and did a test drive but I think I am ready to make a purchase.  We have a lightweight stroller that works well but I would rather not get it dinged up during airport baggage handling.  I want to get a less expensive stroller that is sturdy enough to last a couple of trips and think this is the right one.  If you have experience with this stroller, let me know your thoughts.  Again, I know this is on the lower end and I get performance out of my current stroller but I'm looking for good enough, should last and has telescopic handles for tall parents.

Re: First Years Ignite Stroller recs

  • We have this as our umbrella stroller and I LOVE it. In fact, I love it more than my much more costly Tuetonia stroller, which has all but been retired since the Ignite came into our lives. We ordered the Walmart version, with the bar in front and extra cup holder. It gets the job done, is sturdy, has enough recline and a large enough basket. It is even heavy enough to put a diaper bag on the back (low, not all the way up top). The only thing I can't comment on is the telescope handles. DH and I are both on the shorter side, but the handles hit fairly high on me and I wouldn't see a problem with a taller adult using it. The best part... it is cheap enough that if something happens it can be easily replaced.
