1. Bouncy Chair: We had 2 for travel that folded up and one that we used at home. My guys were not crazy about them, so we could have gotten away with one.
2. Swings: We got 2. Again my guys were not crazy about them. You can start with one and add on later. We got the bobby travel swings and my guys seemed to like the larger one at the daycare, but again I think you could start with one and rotate like you had said.
3. Jumper/Exersaucer We have one of each, and we still use them everyday!
4. Play gym: We got 2 as gifts and I had one upstairs and one downstairs. We would have been fine with one.
5. Bobby pillow: I did like having 2 of these especially when I was home alone with the boys and it was an easy way to feed them or even just to help keep them propped up a bit. They did nap in them when I was in the room and could keep and eye on them.
1. Started with 1 Boppy bouncer for sleeping and dragging room to room (it's really wide). Added Rainforest bouncer at 2 months - it's like baby crack. Added 2 super cheap bouncers to keep in the bathroom during showers at 2 months.
2. 1 swing - get a side to side one because the travel ones suck.
2-two swings, once they grew out of the chairs, they went to swings. one travel and one regular
3-two, we used these more than the swings and chairs
4-one
5-two, I used them for nursng so i had one upstairs and one downstairs. When they were both learning to sit up, we brought them downstairs and put them around their hips.
We were lucky to have a nice neighbor who gave us their extras. I wouldn't buy two until i knew the babies would like them.
3. Exersaucer 0 (I think these are overrated and too big for my house)
4. playgym 1
5. boppy 2
This all may change once they start using it. I figure I can go buy more if they really like the thing I got one of. I just don't want to be stuck with 2 if they don't like it.
1. Bouncy Chair - we started with one, and got a second hand me downed, I'm not sure we needed the second one.
2. Swings- we also started with one and had a second one hand me downed, we used the second one all the time.
3. Jumper/Exersaucer- we had one jumperoo and one exersaucer, I think it is good to have a total of two containment toys, they were great for when I was alone and needed a quick run to the bathroom.
4. Play gym- we only had one, but we didn't even use it much, we used a regular quilt laid on the floor much much more.
