Don't tell DH but I think I am ready to have another baby!!  I don't know if it's hormones, the fact that Serena is sleeping huge long stretches at night, I'm plain crazy or any combination of any of these but I have gone plain broody!

Please talk me down from this ledge!

Well, they say you know when you're ready...but when my DD was as old as your little DD, I could barely get my hair washed and clothes on every day. You are lucky you're feeling so peppy, so if you want another one...take advantage while you're feeling it .

Go for it!  I am very serious.  We started TTC when DD was 4 months old.  Here I sit with a 33 month old, and no BFP.  It is never too soon if you think you want another LO.  Have fun practicing, even if you don't go all in right now.  I am glad I didn't wait a year like my OB suggested.  I would be more upset than I am right now if we hadn't started soon after she arrived.  Good luck to you!

Give yourself a few weeks, if you still feel the same (and DH is on board obviously) then go for it! Only you know your limitations and what you can handle. For some the newborn stage isnt as daunting and it wouldnt surprise me that you are ready already. FWIW even w/ all of Nicholas' health issues and special needs I was feeling ready again around 6 months, I let it go for a few months but we officially started trying at like 8 months having no idea that it would take us 5 months to get pg again.
