any moms who have LO's with dentinogenesis imperfecta

Hi my boyfriend has dentinogenesis imperfecta and I was trying to find more information on when we might know if our daughter has it or not. Were there any tests that any one had done. I don't know if this was the best board to post on but I figured mothers with older children who have it could maybe help.

There's a couple ladies here that have experience with it - the one I can think of is Amanimals (or close to that).
