Fisher-Price Precious Planet Jumperoo

Ok so I liked this online and got it as a gift at my shower.  I put it together and it does not seem very sturdy or safe.  Anyone have this and can tell me what you think?

I tried bouncing it and it makes sound. The frame  also wiggles a lot.  It is on my hardwood floor so it is not that it is on carpet.

Ummm we have the same one and it's been 100% safe. DD jumps around in it, and we push her back and forth and there has never been an accident or even concerns about its safety. Did you set it up correctly? We don't hear a sound when she jumps, I mean jumping causes the jumperoo to light up and turn on the music... is that the sounds you're referring to?

It's supposed to be pretty mobile to allow for lots of jumping and swinging. As long as it doesn't fall apart or anything when you simulate jumping and rotating in the seat, then it should be fine. Again we have the same one and DD loves hers!

We have the rainforest one (just a different pattern & colors)  and it is wobbly, but the base is firm and we have it on hardwood.  He really enjoyed it and it is safe - supervised, as long as it's put together correctly and the pins are through the metal holes.
