I think we're officially in the terrible twos

I knew it would happen, I was just hoping it would be delayed longer. DD has been extremely clingy lately, and waking up crying. Her response to everything is "no" (though she says it in a very cute voice), and she's definitely testing boundaries.

We had a full-on meltdown at the Leesburg Outlets this weekend because she only wanted me to carry her and didn't want to walk. It was embarrassing, but we eventually distracted her enough that she stopped wailing. Multiple people stopped because they thought something was really wrong, like she hurt herself or something. I was very proud of myself that we didn't give in, and she ended up walking herself.

I'm crossing my fingers that it's short-lived.

It's amazing how fickle toddlers can be - she was such a sweetheart yesterday!  (Gosh - was that just yesterday?)  T seems to go in and out of that phase so far.  I can't imagine what it will be like once she settles into it for a long stretch...
