Postpartum Depression

if you're on meds thru insurance

did your insurance put a social worker on your case?

Did/do you have to go see a counselor/therapist?

Thanks

My insurance didn't send me to a therapist.  My OB suggested one & I thought it was a good idea.  I was diagnosed with PPD when DD was 5 months old & I'm still seeing her.  She is great & it really helps me talk out things that are going on in my life with someone who is completely removed from the situation.

I don't think insurance gets involved at all.  It is your diagnoses & your illness & they have no right telling you what you need to do.  That should be up to you & your doctor. GL

Yes this. Wtf is up with this fear of your kids being taken if you go on meds for PPD?
