Had my NT scan today ?

I was in and out in under 1/2 hour. I love the first appointment of the day. They said the neck measurements were within a normal range so now just waiting on the blood work which should be back in a week. However I only get a low/high assessment until after the second set of blood work in a month. Then I get the 1 in whatever stats. Is this the same for most people?

They did tell me numbers after the NT scan + the first part of the blood work, but they also said that they are not definite yet. After the second part of the test they gave me the official numbers.

I never got official numbers after my scan. The only numbers I got were based on age. Then, after the bloodwork and scan, they told me that everything looked great and not to worry about any of the age statistics.

That is exactly how my results went. I got a letter after the scan saying "low" risk. Then after I did the second blood draw a few weeks later. was it week 16? we got the numbers.

Good feedback. We go for the scan tomorrow. I did the blood work 10 days ago, so I'm assuming they'll have those results when we go in. SO there's another blood test at 16 weeks? This is so new to me!

Yes, this was the same confirmation result I have with the exception of the neck measurement, they didn't confirm either way until I had the second blood test.

I had my NT scan today also and by the time I talked with the Genetic Counselor and had my scan, I was in there for 2 1/2 hrs. Baby was not cooperating, so it took a while to get the right shot. The neck measured normal, so I'm happy about that...just waiting on blood. I was not told there is a second blood test, though, so that is new to me.

We did the quad screening. I don't know it this is different from what you all are doing/did. IT was a few drops of blood from my finger and an US around 13 weeks. Then I went back and they drew blood at week 16. I think there are a few ways to do it.
