Boo Monday! How was your weekend?

I just can not believe it is already Monday morning. YUCK!

My weekend was fantastic! I'm so sad it is over :(:(

Friday night DH and I went out to dinner and to the baseball game. The weather was perfect!

Saturday DH had a double header and the weather was great again..I have a fab tan going on now. Then we grilled steaks and corn on the cob for dinner and the steaks were out of this world! Then we went over to our neighbors house for drinks and to hang out. It was a good, relaxing time.

Yesterday we slept in and went to brunch and brunch was delicious. I ate waaaaaaaaay too much. Then we cleaned our house because we are having friends over for dinner on Wednesday and took the dogs on a long walk.

Back to the grind now...DH's season will likely be over in 4 weeks and then I may get a few days with him before camps and recruiting starts. 1 day out of 106 days just isn't enough for me!

Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! And here's to hoping that this week flies by Yes

Re: Boo Monday! How was your weekend?

  • That sounds like a fabulous weekend!!  DH is a college coach also, so I totally understand the time commitment.  I rarely see him during football season from August until Thanksgiving!

I just got back from Vegas last night (went with my parents), and the week was awesome.  My best friend lives in CA and met me out there, and it was so much fun.  I am so glad I don't go back to work until tomorrow, because I have SO much to do today!  There is practically no food in the house and the house is a mess.  Thanks DH!

  • I loathe Mondays. I am always so tired.

My weekend was fantastic! Weather was perfect. I, too, have a tan. I love the southern weather.

DH was home at 3 yesterday so we got to have a nice dinner. It was a perfect day.

  • I had too much tequila on Friday and spent the rest of the weekend paying for it. It stormed almost all weekend so I just laid in bed, watched tv and whined about hangovers hurting more now.

and I felt really mature nursing a freakin' hangover! I haven't had one in a very long time. SMH

  • Glad you had a good weekend, I cannot believe it's Monday already.  :(

Saturday we waited around for our new dryer to be delivered and installed.  Went to Target to get things to send out some meds to some girls on here.  Went by the post office to mail their packages.  Took a long nap with DH, cooked up some pierogies and watched a movie.

Yesterday DH had to work all day since Easter isn't a recognized holiday, so I went to church, we had lunch together, and then I did laundry and chilled the rest of the day until DH got home and we had Mexican for dinner.  Yum.
