Pools (inside the loop preferred)

Are there any public pools in Houston that you frequent, or any inexpensive places to get a membership so I can take my son swimming?  He is just 10 months, but we are taking swim lessons at U of H and I want to keep him exposed to the pool.  Inside the loop preferred.  Thanks!

Check out YMCA locations.   We live waaaay outside the loop so I am not help on any specific locations but we have a YMCA near us that we loooooove to go to during the summer, it has an indoor pool too but we usually just go swimming the months the outdoor pool is open.

Stude Park and Love Park in the Heights both have pools. You'd have to check on line for the hours, though.

The downtown YMCA has a great swimming area. How do you like the classes at UH? I thought about signing up last month, but the class that fit our schedule was cancelled.
