Refuses to nap today

It's almost 4pm and Adrian has been in his crib on and off (I go in and try to rock him) since 2pm. He's tired but REFUSES to sleep. I can hear him playing in there, maybe I should just call it quits? But I don't think he'll last til 8pm if he doesn't nap.

WWYD? Keep him there until he naps or just forget about it and let him stay up and put him to bed earlier today. Geez, I really needed the afternoon break today, ugh.

Me: 44 DH: 42. DS born healthy at 40 weeks 8/24/09. TTC since then with no luck or ART. Surprise BFP 8/6/14... MMC @ 8 weeks 4 days... Miss you everyday sweet baby angel.

    Never mind, he's sleeping now (it's 4:12). I don't know why he's fighting his naps lately. Maybe it's teething or he just wants to play all day. He's been learning new words, maybe he's too excited to sleep (so cute). When he's at daycare twice a week, he naps around noon, but at home he won't nap until at least 1 or 1:30 and sometimes later. What gives?

    I wish I had advice.  At least he finally went down...  No nap days are so draining.
