I am hoping to take a music/movement class this summer when I'm on summer break. I will mostly likely be on my own for this. Has anyone tried it by them self? Were you successful in having a fun experience? Thanks for any input!
We do a Music Together class with our kiddos, which they love. I don't know how old your kids are, but at this age, I think it'd be really challenging to do it on our own. I think I'd probably only try it on my own if I thought the teacher might take one of the kids for some of the activities. The room where our class is held isn't entirely babyproofed, so I'd constantly be chasing after someone/trying to bring them back to the circle if I were on my own. So, not un-doable, but might be challenging. GL!

I would say it depends on the how safe the room is, its size and how helpful the teacher & other moms are. I take my girls to a pay-as-you go weekly music class. My DH usually goes with me. It's doable but rough alone. My girls run in different directions, but it's a HUGE, safe gym and I usually have several friends there. Their LOs aren't as adventurous as mine, so they're able and willing to help keep up with mine.
If I were you, I'd ask for a trial class before signing up and see how it goes. If you think it will too much to handle alone, you can always try to find someone to go with you. You could even hire a jr high or high school student as an extra set of hands and it shouldn't be too much money.
i would definitely do a trial before signing up. i take my kids to gymboree and a music class. sometimes my mom goes with me and sometimes i am on my own. it can be challenging when i am by myself but it's totally doable.
Our nanny takes them to what I am assuming is the same class you are talking about and she can handle them both no problem!
That's great that she is able to go w/your girls! There is an class near me that is outside but I don't think I'm brave enough for that by myself. Is the class your girls go to inside or outside? Do you have a link? Thanks!

Just ask the teacher if she would be able to help. My cousin took her twins to a Kindermusik class and the teacher just took one of the babies. Good luck!
