Anyone have the IXL(fisher price)

Just trying to get some feedback.  My sister wants to give it to my soon to be 5 year old.  It got Pretty Good Reviews, but the ages seem on the younger side(3-5).  Thought.  Thanks

My DD got it when she was 4 and it's fun, but I definitely think she will outgrow it sooner than I thought she would.

I got it because I liked the fact that there were no cartridges, but uploading the software is kind of a PITA.

She loves the art tablet and writing practice (in addition to the games).

But sheerly for age range, I'd go with a different system so they can grow into it.

My DD1 got one at 4 or 5.  She plays with it in bed & on trips.  My DD2 got a Leapster (Explorer) & I think they like that one better though.
