Do I need to wash Ergo Carrier Infant Insert

Hello- I am washing all of my baby items today and am wondering this is something that needs to be washed before we use with the baby. Any idea? Thanks!

Now that I think about it - we didn't.  We finally washed it when DD had barfed on it!

now that i think of it, i didn't wash it until she had used it for a few months. i would, though, since you have time. and i hope your baby loves it as much as mine did! it was literally the only way i could get her to sleep at night for the first few weeks and any time i would put her in it, she immediately calmed down. it seems so comfortable.
