Starts tomorrow morning ![]()
And its a 12hr shift.. I'm going to miss my little guy so much. I'm taking comfort (slightly!!!) in the fact that he'll be with my husband and not at a daycare, but I'm very worried that my DH won't be able to handle it!!!
He's had him for a 4 hour stretch once, and they survived, but tomorrow is going to be a long one.
But, I've got my pump packed, lunch made, 3 bottles made up for DH + more milk in the fridge, written out instructions for him on feeding, cleaned the kitchen tonight after LO went to bed and have the dishwasher running, and the clothes are laid out..
Now we just have to see how it goes tomorrow morning.. I still don't know what time to get up yet!! Just have to add feeding a baby and one pumping session to my normal routine.. if I remember what that is after 10 weeks!!!
Re: The dreaded return to work..
I think it went better then expected!!! DH is used to having a crying baby most of the time, or within 5 minutes of me handing LO to him, so I guess he realized today that he doesn't cry all of time
now we have another day of it tomorrow.. but it was interesting going back and having to leave my assignment to pump.. I felt like I spent a lot of time in the pumping room today!!
