I have the BePrepared and the BFF. I love them both and use them both all the time. When I go out for a long day with both kids I pack up the BePrepared. We use cloth diapers and it fills up fast. When I leave for just a couple hours or for a day with just one kid (rarely...lol) I use the BFF and it's perfect.
In the BePrepared I can pack: - 4 one-size cloth diapers - 5-6 small cloth diapers - 10 cloth wipes - 8oz bottle of wipe solution - one cloth wetbag - spare infant clothes - spare toddler pants or jacket - 2 teether toys - 1 book/toy for toddler - 2 snacks - sippy cup - all my "mom" stuff (wallet, keys, phone, etc)
In the BFF I pack 2-3 one-size cloth diapers and 3 small diapers. I don't pack spare pants for DS and probably only have one snack. Those are probably the main differences in how much they'll hold.
The BePrepared has a larger "Mom Pocket" and I can fit an entire clutch purse in it (with all my wallet essentials) rather than just the wallet/keys/phone. It really is an all-day bag. If you aren't able to hook it to a stroller, you might find it way too big and heavy to carry around all the time when it's fully stocked. I carry it on my shoulder in/out of places, but it quickly finds a home on the bottom of a shopping cart or on the handle of my stroller. Same goes for the BFF, but it's not nearly as large and heavy.
With the BFF I carry a clutch purse (empty) to leave in the car in case I want to transfer the wallet and stuff to it and just run into a store quickly without the diaper bag. When I carry the BFF the "extras" will get left behind in the car (jacket, clothes, spare diaper if I feel that what I packed might be pushing it).
If you use disposable diapers, I'm tempted to say the BePrepared will simply be too big for you unless you want it for airplane travel. If disposables are what you use, look into the Packabe and BFF. They are around the same size, but are organized differently. The Packabe is more of a backpack and things get stacked up inside. The BFF opens up from the side and you can see things laid out inside.
Hope this helps! There's also a lot of help in the Pink Room at JJB's website.
Also, if you are considering other brands, the Skip Hop City Chic is a fabulous bag. I carried it daily DS for 20 months and wore it out with heavy use. It held up really well and was a huge bag. I almost replaced it with the same thing when I was shopping for my 2u2 bag, but decided that with cloth diapers I'd need something even bigger (I was able to fill it up with just stuff for DS using cloth diapers). With 2u2 in disposables it would be more than large enough. I loved it, and it had a clutch purse that hung on the side and could be detached to run into a store. That was it's best feature, to me.
