Super excited!

I opened up the mail this morning and got an invite to the yearly preemie party for the NICU LO was at. I'm beyond thrilled. There are a few nurses I can't wait to show LO off to! He left when he was a month old weighing 4 pounds 4 ounces and now he is 7 months & 21 pounds! One proud mama!

Anyone else ever been to a party like this?

That will be SO fun!  Our NICU has a reunion every year in August and it's great to see all the nurses and his NICU buddies that were our "neighbors" for so long!

It's a great day and a great reminder of how lucky we are. Be sure to take pictures. 

 and because I'm a huge AW, I thought you might like to see this collage of Andrew with his other preemie miracle friends (27 weekers) that were born the day before him and next door during most of his stay.

Gosh, I feel so silly for not even mentioning I get to see all the other babies and their parents! Love your collage. It's so amazing to see them all playing and to know the start that all had and everything they over came!

The nurses are harder to catch b/c some of them would have to work during the picnic, but we'd always meet up with his friends too!  There's one nurse in particular I hope we see this year that we missed the last 2 yrs.  She works nights though so she sleeps during the day!
