PSA: Easter Activities Link (Feel free to add your own)

I was looking for an Easter Egg hunt to take DD to and I found this website that has links to a few different activities in DC, VA and MD so I thought I would share. Feel free to post links to other activities. I think we are probably going to go to Butler's Orchard if the weather is nice.

ETA: If anyone knows of indoor activities, I'd be interested in those too since the weather looks iffy tomorrow.

  • I know the Giant in cascades (Sterling) is doing an indoor Easter egg hunt today, maybe the one in Ashburn is too. We are going to Herndon for their hunt, it will be a little wet but DS won't care.
  • Here are a couple things that Warner's daycare let us know about:

April 23rd Ellanor C. Lawrence Park in Chantilly is having their Earth Day Celebration Celebrate Earth Day by getting dirty. Act locally by planting native trees and shrubs on public lands. Mulch and repair the park trails to prevent erosion. End the celebration by recycling household materials into items with new uses. Advance registration is required. For more information, please go to  https://www.co.fairfax.va.us/parks/ecl

April 24th is Easter Brunch at Lansdowne Resort. Enjoy a hassle-free Easter brunch without cooking and cleanup. Mr. and Mrs. Bunny visit with children and are available for photos. There will also be a children's egg hunt and craft tables.  Time: 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Complimentary for children 3 and under. Free Valet Parking. Reservations are required. Call: 571.291.7649 for reservations and more information.

Ongoing Daily except Mondays and Tuesdays, April 24th through June 2nd is Snow White and the Seven Dwarves Based on the Grimm fairy tale, this production takes the Puppet Co.'s usual sideways view of the popular story, giving it timeliness and humor for adults, as well as kids. For more information, please go to https://www.thepuppetco.org

Ongoing Daily except Tuesdays and Wednesdays, April 16th through May 1st is Butler Orchard?s Bunnyland! Enjoy a hayride down the Bunny Trail; bring a basket to hunt for colorful eggs (and get a goodie basket to take home); visit with the farm's very own Country Bunny; ride pedal tractors, hop around on inflatables, and play in the Kiddie Hayromp and Castle; and see live bunnies, lambs, and chicks. Plus food, drinks, face painting, crafts, and more.  For more information, please go tohttps://www.butlersorchard.com
