Prewashing question

Any tips for prewashing my new microfiber inserts and BG pockets for the first time? What about new hemp babies inserts?

 I read somewhere about boiling them- does this speed up the absorbancy process, that is what I am hoping for- if so, how long do you boil them for?

Thanks ladies, just trying to get these read as fast as possible with the best absorbancy!

I wash my BG pockets and MF inserts just once when they are new - to get any traveling germs off. Line dry the shells and dry the inserts.

 Any bamboo or hemp inserts - I boil for 30 minutes and then throw in with my regular CD laundry.
