Benjamin, Bennett, Benson, Benton?

DH and I kind of like Benjamin, but I feel like it's a little boring. What do you girls think of the other "Ben" nickname alternatives -- Benson, Bennett, Benton?

I love the name Bennett. One of my best friends growing up was named Bennett! I do, however, think Benjamin is a great name. I agree that Benson and Benton sound more last name-ish.

I love Benjamin, it's on our short list. I like Benson, too. To me, Bennett & Benton are "too last name".

I guess I am in the minority here, but I agree with the OP- Benjamin is boring to me. I like all three of the other choices, but I think Bennett works best. Benson would be my least favorite of the three.

Benjamin is my fav because it is DH's name. The only reason we're not using it for our kids is the only nn is Ben (obviously what DH goes by). I don't think of Benny or Benji as viable options.

I love Benjamin and would only shy away from it because I know several little boys named Benjamin. (But their parents have good taste!) I like Benedict for a Ben nickname too. Your other options are too surname-y for my taste, but Bennett is kind of cute.

I like Benjamin the best, but I think Bennett is ok too. I don't like the other two- and Benson just makes me think of the old tv show with Robert Guillaume.
