  • YAY!  Best of luck for your upcoming FET!

We are also planning one in the near future...and I am just wondering, I saw in your ticker that you have the same blood clotting disorder that I have (MTHFR).  We also had a M/C at 12 weeks (baby stopped growing at 10).  Did your RE tell you this was the cause for yours?  And is he/she giving you anything to help for with this for your upcoming FET?

Not in so many words but basically yes - my body forms tiny blood clots which are no big deal to me but to a fetus it is a problem - that baby did not get the proper nutrients that it needed.  I do have a new protocol.  I am taking 4 mg of folic acid - B Vitamins and if I do get my BFP then I will start on Lovenox injections which is a blood thinner - and I will take it for the entire pregnancy - both my RE and Hemo agreed on this.  I will take baby aspirin starting today.

It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.
