The post below reminds me of our house, overflowing with plastic bags. I have some reusable bags from like BRU and Krogers but they just don't seem to last. Anyone have reusable grocery sacks that you really like that hold up?
We use envirosacks. I have a pack of 6 that are nylon and black and white patterned. They fit a ton of groceries and the straps are long enough that I can hang them from my shoulders. My mom gave them to me a few years ago.
I have some HUGE ones that my mom got me from Sam's a few years ago and I love them. I literally can put my entire cart full of groceries in 2 of these bags since they are so big and they are really sturdy and can hold up to the weight of half a cart of groceries.
I need to find out if WWF is still sending them to you for donations. They were seriously the best resusable bags ever. I got compliments on them all the time.
They were pretty big as far as reusables go, but sturdy & strong enough to hold the load. Which was nice, because it made for fewer trips into the house. And cute, with pics of animals on the sides.

We use envirosax too and I love them. They roll up nice and small and I keep some in my purse. Since I always have them on me, I find I use them wherever I shop, not just at the grocery.
I really like Meijer's bags, I've been using them for my grocery shopping trips for almost a year now and they look as good as new. They hold a lot, too!
In my purse I usually carry my flip and tumble bag that I can use when I'm just running out for a few items. It doesn't sit flat like the meijer bags, but that's not a problem most of the time.
