So back when we always got the plastic grocery bags I would save them to use for cleaning the litter or to be recycled. Well Rumpke won't pick them up for recycling. So this stash of bags has gotten totally out of hand. I know Kroger and other retailers have the recycling cylinders but I have enough bags to fill at least two of those so I don't feel like I can take them there. And I don't want to drive around to different stores spreading out my recycling sites, kwim? LOL
SO, is there any place I can take the whole lot of them at once for recycling?
Re: Embarrassing Earth Day question
LOL, I'm in the same boat. I still use them for cleaning the litter box, but we got overwhelmed with them somehow.
I stuffed them all into as few bags as possible and have been driving around with them in my back seat for two weeks. Every time I stop at Kroger I drop off another bag full. But seriously, I swear the bin there is always full, so I don't feel like I can drop off very many at once.
Oh, and we've driven to two different recycling places in the county that said online they took "plastic", but when we got there they had signs saying no plastic bags.
related note: the best reusable grocery bags I had I got from donations to WWF, but DH threw them out in the move because they "took up too much space". Grr. Guess I need to make some more donations, huh? Hope they're still sending them.

I suppose that's true. I will be thrilled to have them out of my basement. I swear DH is thinking of calling Hoarders: Buried Alive because of these stupid bags.
I'm a bag lady.
