Re: Any1 take Grape Seed Extract?

  • I'm allergic to this....but it's mostly an ingredient in lotions.  I can't imagine this helping w ART.

Bella, u remind me a little of me after my WTF.  There is so much going on, and you are looking into all of it.  I just want to say...u had a pretty good cycle.  You had 5 blasts....that's AMAZING.  I bet ur eggs are great.  Hopefully a few small tweeks will bring u ur take home baby.

My RE mentioned taking OPC to help increase egg quality, I googled it and it came as grape extract.  I could be wrong though, I have an email out to my RE office asking about OPC.

Anyway, I may have had 5 blasts, but according to my RE they were not all that great of quality....he called 4 of them "fair" and 1 "good/fair".  So...this makes me think I have a quality issue....even though my RE doesn't agree.....he would just like them to be better.

. Just remember, tons of babies come from fair embryos. I only had one fair blast, and both of my REs are confident in my egg quality. There are more factors that contribute to the embie quality, than just the quality of ur eggs. How u stimmed, when they took them, the lab etc. I'm just trying to say, u have a lot of reasons to be hopeful IMO. Good luck!

Oh I know about everything that you are talking about.  I am just asking ppl on TB about things that my RE brought up the other day.  As all of this is new territory for me (doing another IVF, which is our last IVF, with changes).

    Thanks for the feedback
